There are two red lines that are not up for discussion — Ukraine’s membership in the EU and NATO, said Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

Perhaps you think that is vague, not clear, or a tale signifying nothing, to apply Shakespeare. But governments in Finland, the Baltic States, Poland and Romania will get the message. So should Hungary, as Orban will be given a kind of priority, in an offer he will never be able to refuse.

It is not only Europe that still needs to properly wake up at government level, it is across the board, from those who proudly ignore the war, and they are proud in their ignorance, to the ones blithely supporting Ukraine by sharing Russian losses and jokes about Russians losing online— in the big game Russia is playing, the losses they incur will not go near to stopping them, and seen from the inside, the war is very deadly for those defending. There are also people I saw on the streets of Britain whining about not sending our boys to Ukraine, and others accusing Ukraine of being corrupt, again and again, in some bizarre unresearched ritual. All of them together make a desperately ignorant…
